Looking forward to another week of engaging discussions and shared knowledge. Keep the conversations going, and happy woodworking!

After last week’s HVLP talk, here’s what works for me: on a FinishLine FLG4 with a 1.3 mm, waterborne poly levels well around 18–20 psi at the gun; I strain it and add 3–5% water plus a dash of GF Extender when the shop’s under 60°F… If you’re limited to a 1.5, drop the air and keep the gun moving — “less air, more fluid” keeps it from dry-spraying. Caveat: too much thinning kills build and clarity, so I aim for roughly 25–30 sec in a Zahn #2 and let the first coat be a sealer.
